Ardgowan Antiques

Lucinda Shaw Stewart started Ardgowan Antiques in 1983, selling decorative furniture and objects from her 18th Century house on the West Coast of Scotland.
She now has ten rooms of stock which ranges from furniture, textiles and rugs, porcelain and glass, lamps to pictures and sculpture. These mainly date from the 18th Century and early 19th Century and include a number of Scottish-made items. The shop is open by appointment only.
Ardgowan is 35 minutes from Glasgow Airport, an hour's drive from Prestwick Airport, and 50 minutes drive from Central or Queen Street railway stations in Glasgow. Transport from any of these can be arranged on request.
